Because it contains silica and minerals, horsetail often is used to strengthen bone, hair, and fingernails — parts of the body that require high mineral levels. Steep for tea and combine it with other herbs. You can grind it into powder for capsules.
Suggested use: Steep 8 oz of water and add 2 teaspoons of Tea.
