How To Make A Respiratory Tonic Using Natural Herbs

This respiratory tonic recipe requires spring water, elderberry, burdock root, wild cherry bark, cloves, nettle leaf, and mullein leaf.

Wild cherry bark is recommended for dry, irritated spastic coughs, chest issues, and irritations from inhaling smoke or wildfires.

1. First, you should put in a pot 4 cups of spring water, 3 oz of elderberry, 2 tablespoons of burdock root, 2 tablespoons of wild cherry back, and 3-6 cloves. Let this mixture boil for approximately 30 minutes then turn off your source of heat.
2. Next, add 2 tablespoons of nettle leaf and 2 tablespoons of mullein leaf. Stir the mixture and allow it to steep for around 15-20 minutes.
3. Finally, strain the mixture into a mason jar ready for storage.


Recommended dosage:


It is recommend that you take approximately 4 ounces of this mixture daily until you finish this portion. Before serving the required dosage, shake the mixture to recombine the separated components. You can take it every morning with a touch of key lime.


Storage and Preservation


Store this mixture under refrigeration to last longer. Immediately after you have finished making this respiratory tonic, put it in your fridge and ensure it remains there throughout. You can also preserve it more by squeezing some lime into it.

Do not make to respiratory tonic and take mucanix at the same time! I had an allergic reaction with hives and rashes. It subsided. So, becareful when taking meds.
